Paralaxes: Histórias do Comum

Partindo do conceito de Comum proposto por Antonio Negri e Michael Hardt enquanto ecossistema partilhado de recursos, saberes e práticas, Paralaxes: Histórias do Comum reúne textos que acompanham os projetos da Porto Design Biennale e procuram revelar possibilidades de resistência e alegria.
Através da narrativa, da fabulação e do ensaio, sete escritoras e uma ilustradora observam e constroem imaginativamente a vida de espaços, ideias e pessoas de importância vital para as cidades de Porto e Matosinhos.
Paralaxes integra o programa curatorial desenvolvido por Angela Rui para a edição de 2025 da Porto Design Biennale, com o tema O TEMPO É PRESENTE. Inventar o Comum.

Taking the notion of the Common, presented by Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt as a shared ecosystem of resources, knowledge and practices, Parallaxes: Common Stories brings together texts which accompany the projects of the Porto Design Biennale, and which seek to uncover possibilities for resistance and joy.
Through narrative, fable and essay, seven writers and an illustrator observe and imaginatively shape the life of the spaces, ideas and people of vital importance to the cities of Porto and Matosinhos.
Parallaxes forms part of the curatorial programme developed by Angela Rui for the 2025 edition of the Porto Design Biennale, whose theme is TIME IS PRESENT. Designing the Common.
