Imprimere gathers instruments, machines, technologies and artifacts that illustrate the evolution of graphic production in Portugal, from Imprensa Régia to the present. In a didactic way, it seeks to associate artifacts with the main processes, techniques and technologies associated to the production of the book: Paper, Type, Typography, Calcography, Serigraphy, Lithography and Binding. The book was published as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of Imprensa Nacional.
