O Princípio [The Beginning] presents a total of 100 images from ten photography projects developed during the four years prior to publication.
Daniel Rodrigues is a professional photographer who focuses on photojournalism and documentary. He is one of the most prestigious Portuguese photojournalists, collaborating as a freelancer with newspapers around the world, especially the american The New York Times. He has also published his photos in other major media such as Die Welt, Daily Mail, El País, CNN, BBC and Expresso, among others. Among the many awards he has received, he won the World Press Photo award in 2013.
