Burilada | Art-facts for Survival details the eponymous opening exhibition of Casa do Design in Matosinhos, in 2016, which presented a set of design objects that constitute agents of reconfiguration of material culture in contemporary Portugal. The catalogue is organized into six nuclei: management, conservation, production, research, demonstration and reinvention, and complemented with texts by designers and researchers, who were invited to reflect on the theme.
