"Post Millennium" selected at Prémio Design de Livro

On November 16 DGLAB announced the results for this year’s edition of Prémio Design de Livro (Book Design Award) and we gladly got the news that the 3rd issue of the journal Post Millenium — Critical Essays on Contemporary Tensions launched in 2019 during Porto Design Biennale was one of the publications selected by the jury, together with other 19 books that will be submitted for "Best Book Design From All Over the World" next year.

Under the theme "We Would Prefer Not To – Resistance & Resilience" this editorial object, a bit bigger than a A3 sheet, is printed on a combination of black and silver ink, only interrupted by the vibrant colors of the visual essay.

Over its 72 pages, the journal features a total of 6 essays exploring questions pertaining to work and production values, the boundaries of virtual and real, the truth and social meaning of photographic images and (de)colonization of contemporary artistic practices.

A big thank you and congratulations to our resident team of graphic designers who were responsible for creating this journal: Inês Nepomuceno, Susana Martins and Luís Cepa. Raise your glasses! 🍸
